POST PURCHASE, SHIPPING, DELIVERY / PICK UP

BUILDING LEAD TIMES:

Our pieces are made to order. Projected building lead times are indicated on each listing in the Overview section of the listing. Our lead times are projections at the time of purchase and can vary depending on the volume of orders that come in near the time of your order. We do our best to hit our lead times as indicated. If any delays arise, we will notify you prior to your completion date with an updated projection for completion.

APPROVAL PROCESS:

We send photos of each piece prior to shipping for approval. We do not ship pieces without approval to ensure any finish adjustments can be made prior to shipping. Once approved, no further finish adjustments will be made.

IN STOCK ITEMS:

Items listed in our IN STOCK section of our website ship within 2-4 business days of purchase. Images of our instock pieces are pictures of the actual piece, so no approval is necessary prior to shipping.

SHIPPING:

Orders will be packed within 2-4 business days from approval. We will send tracking details as soon as they are available.

Smaller items (less than 100 pounds) that can be flat packed (legs detached) will be sent via FedEx. All flat packed items are pre-assembled for approval photos, so assembly is very simple. We send all necessary hardware and a square tip drill bit with all shipments. For items over $500 a signature is required unless you request otherwise.

Larger items will ship one of the methods below based on your selection at checkout:

  1. Curbside Freight (3-5 days) - our standard shipping method for larger items. These pieces will be shipped in a wood crate/pallet. Once picked up from WWM, we will send you tracking details. The freight company will contact you when your order is in your area to setup the final delivery. The pallet will be delivered to the end of your driveway and the driver will not help bring it into your home. Be sure to inspect the crate for any damage. If damage is discovered, be sure to sign for the shipment pending inspection. If there is significant damage to the crate, reject the shipment and contact us right away. Once you inspect and sign for the crate, we recommend taking the top off the crate with a pry bar (corners are screw to ensure the top does not pop off in transit) and bringing items in to your home piece by piece. Customers are responsible for disposal of crate and all shipping materials - please reuse them as able.

  2. White Glove Inside Delivery (7-10 days East Coast/Midwest; 7-14 days West Coast) - additional charge will be noted at checkout for White Glove. If you select and pay for White Glove shipping, our delivery company will contact you to setup an appointment for delivery when shipment is in your area. They will bring your order in to your home, assemble it, and place it anywhere in your home. They will remove all packing materials. Be sure to inspect all pieces prior to signing off on delivery.

INSPECT all pieces upon receiving for any damage. Most minor damage can be remedied with a touch up kit that we will send free of charge. If you notice significant damage to your order, please contact us right away and we will work towards a resolution. Any damage claims after 24 hours will not be accepted.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING FEES:

You will be responsible for extra shipping fees if your delivery address is:

  1. Outside of the Contiguous United States (Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico)

  2. Classified by the carrier as remote

We will contact you prior to shipping if any additional fees will be expected.

DELIVERY:

We offer delivery for customers within 150 miles of our location. Delivery fees are as follows:

0-50 miles - $100

50-100 miles - $150

100-150 miles - $200

For deliveries, we send one driver so your assistance will be required to get your order in to your home. Our driver will help with assembly.

If you are within 150 miles of What WE Make, you can select PickUp at checkout and we will invoice you separately for delivery.
